Ending negative eating habits can be difficult when you don’t understand what’s causing them. Mood eating is when you eat to try and change your mood. You are eating to try and change how you feel quickly, and it’s even better if you can feel good whilst doing it. Mood eaters almost always use food to try and change how they feel because it’s instant gratification.
By eating foods that are similar in sweetness and texture to the foods we ate as babies, we are trying to reactivate the memory of feeling secure and loved; we are looking to find the feeling in food but it’s a search that does not work.
This course shows you how to end your mood eating for good. Overeating is a search for security, a need to recreate the secure feeling we got as children when we held and fed.
